Canada Passport Submission Guide: Steps After PPR

Received your Passport Submission Request? Follow this official roadmap to ensure your Canadian visa is stamped and delivered safely.

Congratulations! Receiving your Passport Request (PPR) is the final major milestone. Now that your VFS payment is successful, your primary goal is to get your passport to the High Commission of Canada via the secure VFS courier network.
Phase One

AWB Confirmation

VFS Global will process your payment and generate an Airway Bill (AWB) Number. This is your courier authorization.

Action Required: Check your Spam/Junk folders. Automated VFS emails are often filtered out by mistake.
Phase Two

Document Checklist

Gather your documents in a clean A4 envelope (do not seal yet):

  • Original Passport (Min. 2 blank pages)
  • Printout of PPR Letter from IRCC
  • Signed VFS Consent Forms
  • Printed Courier Labels (from AWB email)
Phase Three

Pickup & Return

A courier representative will collect your package. Use the AWB number on the courier website to track the journey.

The Return: Once stamped, VFS will notify you with a new tracking ID for the delivery of your passport back to your home.
